5th Avenue Theatre

In Seattle

Waiting for the show to begin.
We were able to take one picture of the stage before they told us to put the camera away...it didn't turn out very well anyway.

Zach's parents took us to the 5th Avenue Theatre in Seattle for Christmas. We saw Seven Brides for Seven Brothers. It was wonderful! We had a treturous trip into Seattle and on the way home, due to snow, but we made it home safe! It has been a long time since the Seattle area has seen this much snow!

I love my husband!

Zach and I celebrated our first Christmas, as a married couple, this year. It was wonderful! We spent Christmas eve with Zach's parents and Christmas with my mom and family. We had so much fun and were blessed with so many wonderful gifts! Everyone was so generous!

First Snow!

Zach and I were thrilled to have our first snow as a married couple! It was beautiful! Only a light layer, but it did stick around for a few days of enjoyment. I love the snow!

Michael W. Smith Christmas Concert

Zach and I took his parents to the Michael W. Smith concert for Christmas. We had a blast! Michael is so talented and we couldn't beleive that he actually had a full orchestra on tour with him!

Pumpkin Patch

Zach and I really wanted to go to a pumpkin patch this weekend because I have never been to one. We have one that is right down the street from us. I especially wanted to go in the corn maze. When we got there, it was so crowded that there wasn't even parking on the street! We decided to go home and possibly try another night this week. Here are the pictures I took as we were driving away. :(

new photo

My sister Gretchen found this photo of Zach and I. I thought it was really cute. It was taken while we were out to lunch with the family on Mother's Day.

The kids were trying to skip rocks.
We went for a very nice hike.
This is our new pet! :)

Zach and I went camping this last weekend at Manchester State Park. Mom and our friends, Jeanette and Lisa, joined us. Gretchen and Jim and the kids were able to come out for a couple of hours on Friday and on Saturday to hang out as well. Friday was a beautiful day but it decided to pour on Saturday. We stayed in Mom's trailer for the majority of the day. We did venture into Port Orchard for a few games of bowling and Jeanette got her highest score ever! We had a lot of fun, and I wasn't really ready to leave yet. I started Fall quarter the following day.

Zach and I really enjoy going on hikes around Washington. We have done many in the past, our most recent was Rattlesnake Lake. It was a beautiful day the view was amazing! It was a four mile hike (2 up, 2 down). We had perfect weather, but we wished we had gone earlier in the day because it started to get quite toasty up there.

Zach was wonderful and took me on a weekend trip to Canada for my birthday. We went to the butterfly gardens and buschart gardens and then camped overnight. Here are some pictures!
