Camping 2008

Mom and Faith, the spoiled puppy.
The kids were trying to skip rocks.
We went for a very nice hike.
This is our new pet! :)

Zach and I went camping this last weekend at Manchester State Park. Mom and our friends, Jeanette and Lisa, joined us. Gretchen and Jim and the kids were able to come out for a couple of hours on Friday and on Saturday to hang out as well. Friday was a beautiful day but it decided to pour on Saturday. We stayed in Mom's trailer for the majority of the day. We did venture into Port Orchard for a few games of bowling and Jeanette got her highest score ever! We had a lot of fun, and I wasn't really ready to leave yet. I started Fall quarter the following day.

Zach and I really enjoy going on hikes around Washington. We have done many in the past, our most recent was Rattlesnake Lake. It was a beautiful day the view was amazing! It was a four mile hike (2 up, 2 down). We had perfect weather, but we wished we had gone earlier in the day because it started to get quite toasty up there.

Summer fun

During my break from classes, I have been helping watch my nephew and niece, Colin and Audra. They are so much fun!

My birthday

In front of the Parliament Buildings.
Played with a seal while waiting for dinner at "Barb's".
In Buschart Gardens...the flowers were amazing!

In the butterfly gardens.

Walking around Victoria, Canada.

We went to the British Wax Museum. It was so much fun!

Zach was wonderful and took me on a weekend trip to Canada for my birthday. We went to the butterfly gardens and buschart gardens and then camped overnight. Here are some pictures!

Summer update

Well, I just finished my summer quarter of school. I was taking Accounting 201, Business Law and Intro to Film. I am very proud to say that I received an A in my accounting class. That was my hardest class this quarter. Now I get to have a month's break before I begin Fall quarter. I am planning on helping mom get her house cleaned and ready for selling and moving in the spring. There is lots to do. I will also be helping Gretchen with the kids while she gets a lot of work done. I am looking forward to having fun and keeping busy during my break. Zach is still working very hard as a contractor for Costco's Headquarters. He is hoping to be hired on full time within a year or so. I am so proud of him! I am truly blessed to have such a wonderful and adoring husband.

Sorry that I haven't posted any new photos recently. During the move into our apartment, we seemed to have lost some things, including our USB chord to plug in our camera. I am hoping to get a new one in a few days and I will post more pictures as soon as possible.
